Matching Gift Challenge Update

WE DID IT! Blessed be God!  We are so thankful and truly blessed for the many friends God has given us. Many of you gave your best gift ever and some of you gave for the very first-time, together you helped us exceed our Matching Gift Challenge and raised over $50,000!

A BIG “Thank You” to the Mary A. and Chrisman B. Jackson Trust for being a partner in our mission and providing us with the initial investment needed to make this Challenge a true success.

The fruits received have produced many blessings, with your gifts we are now on our way to secure the future of all our Sisters, allowing them to live lives with the dignity and grace they deserve. God bless you and your families, we pray every day in thanksgiving for the gift of YOU!

Make SJS Your Giving Tuesday Option- November 28, 2017

THIS YEAR YOUR GIVING TUESDAY DONATION TO THE SISTERS OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT WILL GO TWICE AS FAR WITH OUR MATCHING FUND CAMPAIGN!
Entering its sixth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. It is more than just a giving day. It’s an opportunity to take a breather from the news of the day — often saddening, or maddening — to cross political, geographic and demographic divides to give to one another. In doing that, we become philanthropists. Philanthropy is more than just the writing of a check. Giving is the manifestation of our hopes and dreams for a better world. National Catholic Sisters Week

March 8th: We celebrate the start of National Catholic Sisters Week, it is also International Women’s Day. We celebrate and acknowledge our sisters as they continue their ministry to serve and love.

NCSW is an annual celebration that takes place from March 8–14. Created to honor women religious, it is a series of events that instruct, enlighten, and bring greater focus to the lives of these incredible women. It’s our chance to recognize all they have done for us. It’s also our hope that as more young women learn about women religious, more will choose to follow their example.
