Ways to Give

Thank you.

Because of your continued, generous support we have been able to help generations of school children grow in their faith while receiving a strong education that prepares them for the challenges of this changing world.

But did you know that while you are making a positive impact on so many young lives, you can also help to secure your own future? Here are some ways that your support of our mission to love and serve may provide tax-saving benefits to you – and even generate additional income:

Gifts made by cash or check allow the Sisters to address immediate needs. Please make your check out to Sister Servants of the Blessed Sacrament and mail to: 3173 Winnetka Drive Bonita, CA 91902

  • Remove an estate tax burden for your heirs
  • Provide a charitable donation to the Sisters

The IRA charitable rollover is now permanently allowed by law!  If you are 70 1/2 or older you can make a direct gift of up to $100,000 annually to the Sisters without having to recognize the income. Contact your tax professional to learn more.

Charitable Gift Annuities (CGAs)

Gift Annuities allow you to make a meaningful gift to the Sisters, receive a fixed income for the rest of your lifetime and obtain substantial tax savings for you and your family. Your gift is invested and during your lifetime, you receive income based on your age when the gift is made (minimum age requirement is 65). At your death, the remaining funds become an endowment that will benefit the Sisters into perpetuity. Gift Annuities are regulated by the California Dept. of Insurance; we are able to extend this gifting opportunity to you through our partnership with The San Diego Foundation. In this way, your gift is backed by the assets of The Foundation, currently valued at more than $600 million. Benefits include:

  • Immediate charitable income tax deduction
  • Capital gains tax bypass or deduction
  • Reduction of annual income tax
  • Guaranteed income stream for life
  • Support for the Sisters
